If you're looking for a quick and easy recipe that is packed with flavor, look no further than this beef and broccoli stir-fry with noodles. This dish is perfect for a weeknight dinner and can be made in just 30 minutes or less.
Ingredients:
- 1 pound of beef, sliced thinly
- 1 head of broccoli, cut into small florets
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced thinly
- 1 yellow onion, sliced thinly
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
- 1 package of rice noodles
Start by cooking the rice noodles according to the package instructions. While the noodles are cooking, heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and cook for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set it aside.
In the same skillet, add the minced garlic, sliced onion, and sliced bell pepper. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are slightly softened. Add the broccoli florets and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the broccoli is tender but still crisp.
In a small bowl, whisk together the cornstarch, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and brown sugar. Pour the sauce over the vegetables in the skillet and stir to coat. Add the cooked beef back to the skillet and stir to combine everything together. Cook for another minute or two until the sauce has thickened and everything is heated through.
Divide the cooked rice noodles between bowls and spoon the beef and broccoli stir-fry on top. Serve immediately and enjoy!
