Delicious Spaghetti Carbonara with Bacon and Parmesan Cheese Recipe

If you're looking for a mouth-watering pasta dish that's quick and easy to make, then spaghetti carbonara with bacon and parmesan cheese is the perfect choice. This classic Italian recipe is a favorite of many and can be prepared in just 20 minutes.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound spaghetti pasta
  • 6 slices of bacon, chopped
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

To start, cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente. While the pasta is cooking, fry the chopped bacon in a pan until crispy. Once the bacon is cooked, remove it from the pan and set it aside.

In the same pan, sauté the minced garlic until fragrant. Then, add the heavy cream to the pan and bring it to a simmer. Beat the eggs in a bowl and add in the grated parmesan cheese. Mix well until the mixture is smooth.

When the pasta is done, drain it and add it to the pan with the garlic and cream. Pour the egg and cheese mixture over the pasta and toss well to combine. Make sure to do this off the heat to prevent the eggs from scrambling.

Add the crispy bacon to the pasta and toss again. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve hot with a sprinkle of grated parmesan cheese and chopped parsley on top.

Creative Serving Ideas:

For a twist on the classic recipe, try adding some cooked shrimp or chicken to the dish. You can also swap out the spaghetti for another type of pasta, such as fettuccine or linguine. Serve with a side salad or garlic bread for a complete meal.
