Warm up with a bowl of delicious and easy-to-make Instant Pot Chili. This classic dish is perfect for chilly nights and can be customized to your liking with various toppings and spices.

To make this recipe, you will need:

  • 1 pound ground beef or turkey
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

To make the chili, start by browning the ground beef or turkey in the Instant Pot on the sauté setting. Once cooked, remove the meat and set aside. Add the onion, garlic, and green bell pepper to the Instant Pot and sauté for a few minutes until softened.

Next, add the cooked meat back into the Instant Pot along with the diced tomatoes, kidney beans, black beans, tomato sauce, and beef broth. Stir in the chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

Secure the lid on the Instant Pot and set to high pressure for 35 minutes. Once the cooking time is complete, use the quick release function to release the pressure. Give the chili a good stir and serve hot with your favorite toppings, such as shredded cheese, sour cream, or diced avocado.

This Instant Pot Chili recipe serves 6 and can easily be doubled for a larger crowd. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
