Ingredients
- 2 cups pitted dates
- 1 cup walnuts
- 1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
- 1/4 cup sweet red wine
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
Start by blending the pitted dates and walnuts in a food processor until they form a paste. Add the shredded coconut, sweet red wine, ground cinnamon, and salt to the paste and blend until all ingredients are combined.
Using your hands, roll the mixture into small balls about the size of a cherry. If the mixture is too sticky, you can add more shredded coconut to help it hold its shape.
Finally, dust the Haroset truffles with a bit of cinnamon to add extra flavor and visual appeal. These truffles can be stored in the fridge for up to a week, so you can make them ahead of time and enjoy them throughout the holiday!
