Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, diced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 head iceberg lettuce, leaves separated
- Optional toppings: chopped peanuts, cilantro, lime wedges
Instructions
1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking up with a spatula, until browned and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.2. Add the diced peppers, onion, and garlic to the skillet with the beef. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
3. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil. Pour the sauce over the beef and vegetable mixture and stir to combine.4. To assemble the wraps, take a lettuce leaf and spoon some of the beef and vegetable mixture onto the center. Add any desired toppings, such as chopped peanuts, cilantro, or a squeeze of lime juice. Wrap the lettuce leaf around the filling, tucking in the sides like a burrito. Repeat with the remaining lettuce leaves and filling.
5. Serve immediately and enjoy!
