- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

- Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- Add onion and bell peppers to the same skillet and cook for 3-5 minutes, until vegetables are tender.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, water, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic powder.
- Add the chicken back to the skillet with the vegetables and pour the soy sauce mixture over everything.
- Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
- Serve the chicken and vegetables over cooked rice.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions, if desired.
Tips:
- You can use fresh chicken teriyaki instead of frozen, just adjust the cooking time accordingly.
- Feel free to add additional vegetables, such as broccoli or carrots, to the dish for extra nutrition.
- For a spicier version, add crushed red pepper flakes or Sriracha sauce to the soy sauce mixture.
