Ingredients:
- 12 large scallops
- 6 slices of bacon
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 clove of garlic, minced
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Start by preheating your oven to 400°F. Rinse the scallops and pat them dry with a paper towel. Cut each slice of bacon in half and wrap each scallop with one piece of bacon, securing it with a toothpick. Place the scallops on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Brush the mixture over the bacon-wrapped scallops.
Bake the scallops for 12-15 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the scallops are cooked through. Serve immediately.
Tips:
- Make sure to use large scallops for this recipe.
- For a stronger garlic flavor, use two cloves of minced garlic instead of one.
- You can also broil the scallops for 1-2 minutes at the end of cooking to get an extra crispy bacon.
