Ingredients:
- 4 8-ounce sirloin steaks
- 1 pound asparagus, trimmed
- 4 tablespoons butter, divided
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F.
- Season the steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 2 tablespoons of butter to the skillet.
- Once the butter has melted, add the steaks to the skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked to your desired level of doneness.
- Remove the steaks from the skillet and place them on a baking sheet. Bake in the oven for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until they are fully cooked.
- While the steaks are baking, prepare the asparagus. Heat a separate skillet over medium-high heat. Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter to the skillet.
- Once the butter has melted, add the asparagus to the skillet. Cook for 5-6 minutes, or until the asparagus is tender and slightly charred.
- Combine the minced garlic and chopped parsley in a small bowl. Melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and mix it with the garlic and parsley.
- Once the steaks are done baking, remove them from the oven and divide them onto four plates. Arrange the asparagus alongside the steaks.
- Drizzle the garlic butter sauce over the steaks and asparagus. Enjoy!
