- 1 cucumber, julienned
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 4-5 slices of ham, julienned
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
Here are all the ingredients you will need to make Kimbap.
Instructions:
Step 1: Cook the rice and let it cool down to room temperature.
Step 2: Beat the eggs and make thin omelets. Cut them into thin strips.
Step 3: Julienne the carrot, cucumber, and ham into thin strips.
Step 4: Place a sheet of roasted seaweed on a bamboo mat. Spread a thin layer of cooked rice over the seaweed, leaving about 1-inch space at the top edge of the seaweed sheet.
Step 5: Arrange the vegetables, eggs, and ham in a line in the center of the rice.
Step 6: Using the bamboo mat, tightly roll the seaweed sheet into a cylinder shape, pressing gently as you go. Moisten the top edge of the seaweed sheet with a little bit of water to help it stick together.
Step 7: Slice the Kimbap into bite-sized pieces with a sharp knife.
Step 8: Serve the Kimbap with soy sauce, pickled radish, and hot mustard.
Enjoy your delicious homemade Kimbap!
