Ingredients:
- 1 baguette, sliced
- 3-4 ripe tomatoes, diced
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F. Arrange the sliced baguette on a baking sheet and brush each slice with olive oil. Bake for 5-7 minutes, or until the bread is lightly toasted.
- In a bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, chopped basil, minced garlic, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Top each toasted baguette slice with a spoonful of the tomato and basil mixture.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
