Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup water
- 12-16 taco shells
- Optional toppings: shredded cheese, diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, salsa, guacamole, sour cream
Instructions
1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned and cooked through. Drain any excess fat.
2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until the onion is translucent.
3. Add the chili powder, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper to the skillet and stir to combine.4. Pour in the water and stir to combine. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for 5-10 minutes or until the liquid has reduced and thickened slightly.
