Ingredients:
- 8 oz. lo mein noodles
- 1/2 lb. flank steak, sliced thinly
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow onion, sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 tbsp. sesame oil
- 1 tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
Start by boiling the lo mein noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water. Set aside.
Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the sliced flank steak and cook for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Add the sliced red bell pepper, yellow onion, and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
Add the cooked noodles and browned flank steak back to the skillet. Pour the soy sauce mixture over the top and toss everything together until well coated.
