Easy and Delicious Chicken Parmesan Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. In a shallow dish, mix together breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.
  4. Place flour in another shallow dish and beaten eggs in a third shallow dish.
  5. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, shaking off any excess.
  6. Dip chicken in beaten eggs and then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
  7. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  8. Add chicken and cook until golden brown on each side, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  9. Transfer chicken to a baking dish and pour marinara sauce over each chicken breast.
  10. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over each chicken breast.
  11. Bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until chicken is cooked through and cheese is melted and bubbly.

Tips:

  • For an extra crispy crust, use panko breadcrumbs instead of Italian seasoned breadcrumbs.
  • You can use any type of cheese you prefer, such as provolone or cheddar.
  • Serve with a side of pasta or a salad for a complete meal.
