Ingredients:
- 1 pound beef sirloin, sliced thinly
- 1 head of broccoli, chopped into small florets
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons of cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
- 1/4 cup of beef broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
For the beef marinade, mix the cornstarch, soy sauce, and oyster sauce in a bowl. Add the sliced beef and mix well. Let it sit for 15 minutes.
In a pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and stir for 1 minute. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until it's browned. Remove the beef from the pan and set it aside.
In the same pan, add the chopped broccoli and beef broth. Cover the pan and let it cook for 2-3 minutes until the broccoli is tender. Add the brown sugar, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
