Delicious and Authentic Pad Thai Recipe

Ingredients

- 8 oz. of Pad Thai noodles- 1/2 lb. of shrimp, peeled and deveined- 5 oz. of firm tofu, cubed- 2 eggs- 2 cups of bean sprouts- 1/4 cup of chopped peanuts- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil- 3 cloves of garlic, minced- 1/4 cup of chopped green onions- 1/4 cup of fresh cilantro leaves

Pad Thai Sauce

- 3 tablespoons of tamarind paste- 3 tablespoons of fish sauce- 2 tablespoons of palm sugar- 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar- 1 teaspoon of chili flakes

Instructions

1. Soak the Pad Thai noodles in hot water for 15-20 minutes or until they are soft. Drain and set aside.2. In a small bowl, mix together the tamarind paste, fish sauce, palm sugar, rice vinegar, and chili flakes to create the Pad Thai sauce.3. Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant.4.
