Delicious Slow Cooker Chili Recipe

Nothing beats a warm and hearty bowl of chili on a cold day. This slow cooker chili recipe is easy to make and packs a flavorful punch.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 can (28 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 can (15 oz.) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (15 oz.) black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 2 tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain the excess fat and transfer the beef to the slow cooker.
  2. Add the onion, bell peppers, and garlic to the slow cooker.
  3. Add the diced tomatoes, kidney beans, black beans, chili powder, cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper to the slow cooker. Stir to combine.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until the vegetables are tender and the flavors are well combined.
  5. Serve hot with your favorite toppings, such as shredded cheese, sour cream, or avocado.
