- 4-5 pieces of Matzo crackers
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup of chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the Matzo crackers on the sheet.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar together, stirring constantly until the mixture comes to a boil. Pour the mixture over the Matzo crackers, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes or until the toffee mixture is bubbly and browned.
- Remove the baking sheet from the oven and sprinkle the chocolate chips on top. Let the chocolate chips sit for a few minutes until they start to melt. Use a spatula to spread the melted chocolate evenly over the Matzo crackers.
