Ingredients:
- 1 pound of shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 pound of linguine pasta
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup of chicken broth
- 1/2 cup of heavy cream
- 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons of Cajun seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Start by cooking the linguine pasta according to the package instructions. While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Add the shrimp to the skillet and sprinkle with Cajun seasoning. Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side or until they turn pink and are cooked through. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
Add the chicken broth to the same skillet and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Add the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese to the skillet and stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Add the cooked linguine pasta and cooked shrimp to the skillet with the sauce. Toss everything together until the pasta and shrimp are coated in the sauce.
Plate the Spicy Cajun Shrimp Pasta and sprinkle with additional Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley for garnish. Serve hot and enjoy!
