Ingredients
- 1 lb. beef sirloin, sliced into thin strips
- 1 head of cabbage, chopped
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. ginger, minced
- 2 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tbsp. honey
- 1 tbsp. sesame oil
- 1 tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the beef strips and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- Add the onion, garlic, and ginger to the same pan and cook until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
- Add the cabbage and red bell pepper, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender and slightly browned, about 10 minutes.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and cornstarch.
- Return the beef to the pan and pour the soy sauce mixture over the top.
- Stir everything together until the sauce thickens and coats the ingredients, about 2-3 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the stir fry hot and enjoy!
